FLUKE 345 - schematic or service manual available?
« on: May 03, 2022, 02:54:53 pm »
Dear all,
got a dead Fluke 345 power quality clamp meter on my bench not working. Highly damaged by leaking batteries in the lower part of the PCB where analog front end and power supply is located. Some traces are eaten up and missing. Has anybody a schematic to check missing connections? Since this is a multylayer board and I do not have XRay available it is not straight forward.... I'm most worry about the vias some of them show quite nice blue flowers growing out of them...

Anybody out who could help? It is a quite expensive piece of stuff worth spending some time to get it back to live.

no schematics available for shore
microscope... hard work
some chemical that takes/converts only copper oxide and then add fresh plating

Can anybody provide me with a photo of the PCB (both sides)? Would be better than nothing.

I have the same exact issue. Battery leak, massive corrosion to lower part of PCB.
And some parts missing as someone before me has had a go at repairing it.
How did you go with getting pics or schematics?
