sds2000x plus display scrambled

Hello,

I was doing some simple measurement when the display of my sds2104x plus got scrambled. I think it did happen in the past and rebooting the unit was enough to recover but today this is not the case, see the initial boot, I tried several times and at some point the siglent logo was ok and then the display got scrambled. It could be a software issue because SCPI is still working. I tried *RST and REC:FDEF but this does not fix the issue.
What do you think ? is there other things I should try ?

it's back !
If I recall well: I deactivated the touch screen with the front panel button and tried a few button press (default button, clear sweeps button, no change) then the shutdown button and let the unit disconnected from power for more than 10 minutes.
next boot was ok

Which firmware version please ?

It could be a display cable issue but warranty would be my first call.
I'll register this with Siglent HQ.

The issue is still present less than 10 minutes after boot without any action from my side.

The firmware at the time of my initial post was SDS2000X-Plus_V1.5.2R1_EN,
upgraded now to SDS2000X-Plus_V1.5.2R3_EN but that does not fix the issue.

The unit is not under warranty anymore. I will check the teardown and see if it is easy to verify the display cable.

The hardware version is 02-04, unit is 3 years old
unit opened and cleaned with air flow.
the 2 connectors on the main board have been gently moved to renew contacts.

the unit is back to normal for now.

Just received is this reply from HQ:
Yes, this fault usually is the display problem. The cable(between mainboard to lcd display)/LCDI board/LCD display may caused the default. From the result of this customer, it is the cable loose.
