Fluke 8060A capacitor list and general restoration?
« on: June 25, 2016, 02:15:10 pm »
Hi all-

Finally getting around to re-capping and restoring my 8060As.  I know there are several old threads here about this but I'm not finding a BOM for all new electrolytics.  Pretty sure I've seen such a list here before?  If anyone can point me to it I'd appreciate it - I hate reinventing wheels... thanks!

Modemhead's blog

http://mrmodemhead.com/blog/fluke-8060a-repair/

Look for July 29, 2013 reply with digikey part numbers.

My only comment about modemhead's selection is he chose 85C caps whereas I would have chosen 105C when possible.  In a handheld multimeter at room temperature, I doubt the difference in 85Cand 105C will matter over a 20 year period.

Nichicon, Rubycon, Panasonic and United Chemicon would be my choices.
