Fluke 8060A power switch replacement
« on: July 11, 2024, 03:57:09 pm »
Hello:

After years of use, the slide switch to my Fluke 8060A fell apart today, the plastic tab broke off from the body that’s soldered to the main board.

The service manual description is “SPD Slide Switch”, which tells nothing about the voltage or current requirements. Also the side of the tab has to be small enough for the green switch cover.

Does anybody have a part number for this so I could order it from Mouse/Digikey?

Thanks.

My first generation 8060A manual, circa 1982, shows my power switch as a model GI-116-0005 made by C-W Industries. Both Digikey and Mouser show them as non-stocked, so you have to order 500 of them.
