Title: Fluke 87 (87III) Diode Test Not Working

I have an older Fluke 87III and the diode test is not working.  I get no beep, no change on the display.

If i short the leads, the display updates to 0V, but again, no beep.

The speaker works and beeps on continuity tests, so it's definitely something specific to the diode test.

Any suggestions?

83 85 87  1st series,  it should be similar
