Fluke 87V-Ex, wrong temperature reading

I recently bought the DMM on ebay. Every thing seems to be fine except for the temperature range.
It reads 188°C rather than the expected 25°C when I plug in a K type probe or just short the test probes.
Does anyone know how to deal with this?
