Title: Fluke D804/8024b Touch-Hold switch
Post by: ogdento on April 10, 2019, 12:28:50 am
Hi,
I recently acquired a nice looking D804 (I think it's the same as the 8024b) and upon cracking it open it seems the Touch Hold button is shattered.

There was a piece rattling around inside, but the two bits together don't make up the full part.

The part number is 607333... has anybody got a spare kicking around?  I'd buy it or at least love to see some photos so I can try to fashion a replacement... it looks like there should be two "fingers" that fit around the actual pushbutton, but I don't know exactly what it's supposed to look like.

Thanks,
Tom

You mean the peak hold switch, right?
Give me a day to take mine apart and photograph the part.

You seem to be missing some parts.
Some pics attached (2 batches):

Wow, GLouie thank you so much... it seems I am indeed missing quite a bit of it!  Those pictures are super helpful, half of mine is just gone.

I'll take a crack at a 3d model and see what I can come up with.
