Swap007:
It is someone who can give me a firmware or database with some instructions for DSP-4300? I bought another remote for the main, but he arrived with 5.17 standards and older firmware, I found the firmware but database standards it remain at 5.17 and I must have 5.19c.
Or is good to downgrade the standard on main unit from 5.19c to 5.17? With another firmware write to main unit?

Just signed up for EEVBlog Forum so I could say THANK YOU for posting that all over on your Google Drive, pete1zed!

I have a few DSP-100s that had mis-matched firmwares, and so they wouldn't work together. Although you don't have the -100 FW posted, you pointed me in the right direction with the wayback links.

Now some extra info for those struggling with LinkWare 6.2, and the info is probably useful to those that have a DSP-2000:

-Yes, LinkWare 6.2 installs and runs fine on Windows 11.
-Yes, Using a USB to Serial adaptor works fine (as long as it's in a null modem configuration, and correct drivers are installed on Win11).

For my first attempt at upgrading the firmware of the DSP-100, it appeared to be successful, but the DSP-100 wouldn't start up. It just made one beep, then the screen stayed blank. I thought I'd bricked it, but luckily Fluke made it so that even in that state I could just initiate another firmware update from LinkWare. The unit being upgraded must be in the Auto Test position, and even though the screen is blank, it's actually on and ready to accept firmware.

After firmware updates, you will need to do a self-calibration, and that WILL require either another DSP (with display) or a Smart Remote (no display)...Both the DSP and SR must have the same firmware. FYI, the update process for the remote is the same as the DSP: Turn on, connect serial, initiate an update, but instead choose the file beginning with "SR".

Hope the above helps someone, and thanks again pete1zed for your posts and files. I've had this DSP-100 since 1999, and although it isn't useful for qualifying any modern ethernet standard, it still is useful in many other ways. Glad it's a part of my kit!
CM:
The internal battery on my DSP-4100 is dead.  Does anyone know the part number for a "drop-in" (solder in) replacement, or where I can get a CR2450 with the same pin configuration?
