fluke multimeter leads warning error

Hi all,i had this issue with my 83v meter,it would constantly bleep and flash a leads warning,removing the amps fuse stopped it but not a solution,i read it was the lead sockets dirty,i tried all sorts of cleaner on them to no avail,chinese replacements were £20 ish from fleabay,i thought well ive nowt to loose here goes,i unsoldered the connector block from the meter,put it in a sock and threw it in with my washing,gave it a couple of days to dry in the airing cupboard,hey presto cured it,that was about 6 months ago,its never done it since,thought i would share this 73 m3vuv.
