I have a FLUKE PM6306 LCR meter that needs to be calibrated.

I can not find the Service Manual or a Calibration Procedure online at all

I tried to calibrate PM6306 using the method in PM6304 service manual, but failed.

DATE 21/5/01; REF_RES_LO 100.002; REF_RES_HI 9.998E3; CAL
After that, PM6306 restarted instead of entering calibration step 'CAL - 3'.

I never saw any leaked service manual for it, searched a lot without any success

they are / where sold under another name ... can't recall the name

Sorry to say they are fake sv manuals links ... and i wont give any credit card info .... sometimes keyword related etc ...

Highvoltage member tried in the past getting the sv manual but no luck, he was kind enough to send me his original dc biais board, i did make a clone of it ... there's a thread here somewhere loll, some pm6306 lcr's did not have the option installed.

I hope your's have it.

Try a Email request at Kerr ... under an non disclosure agreement ?? or try to find a calibration facility ??

There is no service manual available in the open. I know a guy who has one but will not let me have a copy.

I am surprised your PM6306A needs calibration.
They are usually very stable even over many years.
What exactly is outside the tolerances?

It looks like the PM6306 and PM6304 have the same data sheet.

the 6306 is a 1 mega hertz model
the 6304 is a 100khz since the dc biais board is common maybe the mainboard share some similitudes ??

EDIT would be curious to see an 6306 fw in a 6304 ??

The schematics seem to be unobtainable.
Nowhere to be found is a common response in several blogs.

Maybe an owner has this and is wiling to scan.

However, my impression is that it contains mainly a power supply, a HMI interface,
input conditioning, output selection and a large program in a large (?) FPGA that does all the "bridge" calculations.

In short: a high price per kg.

See how the 6304 works ... i think the 6306 is an evolution of this circuit (going up to 1Mhz) you could compare the 6303 against the 6304 and see the changes ??

It doesn't have an hmi display, and some internals photos doesn't show such a fpga / cpld implementation ??

This is my old 6304 and the astounding ridiculous price they ask, believe me they haven't paid me this price loll

the strange thing is, why on the front pcb there is an infrared receiver circuit

never noticed that

section 6 is about the recalibration procedures does it apply to the 6306

I have a 4265A and the attachment is part of the measurement method.
My guess is that this part is now solved in software and the enhanced accuracy partly
depending on the OCXO or with an external source.

The quality of the reference material(s) is evident.

PM6306 has no infrared receiver.

The ERR48 error is looking for the cause and has not been solved yet
