Fluke87III motherboard does not turn on.

Good afternoon.
  I bought a new Fluke 87 III Multimeter Plate, without checking, and when I try it it does not turn on the multimeter.
I appreciate any guidance from similar experience, AND / or the motherboard scheme of said multimeter.

Let me ask the obvious question ... have you tried a brand new fresh 9V battery?

If I tried it with a new 9V battery.

There was a case of power on or off problem, i think it was the mosfets switching the battery on off

You may have an similar circuit ??

Don't rule out an issue with the battery connector. They often develop problems .

If you have not already - check the battery voltage at the circuit board and not at the battery itself.
