Free samsung tv lines on left side of screen

i got a free samsung LN46B650T1F 46 inch tv from the side of the road. it works perfectly except that It has these lines on the left side. I googled it and some said tcon board (i suspect that) or the video input board (All inputs work and this issue happens on all inputs so its not that). i want to get it working so i can use it or even sell it for a bit of cash (after an extremely thorough test)

I think I would also check for evidence of corrosion along the top edge of the panel corresponding with the artifact in the picture. Liquid into the tab bond might cause something like this.

no corrosion, its clean.

I lean towards T-con because of that pattern across the entire picture. I think you lucked out.

Samsungs genrally have a jumper that allows you to test the panel

On the T-con(holes 3 and 4) but it's meant to give you a test pattern and take the main board out of the equation.
