Fried component ID? Netgear GS308E Switch
« on: February 09, 2024, 07:48:09 pm »

Could anyone help in identifying the blown component here? Symptom is no power-up and U1 i/c has fried itself!
It looks something like 1AD?? so i'm thinking its either a regulator or start up sequencer of some sort?
I can't find any schematics online, so i'm hoping either someone has one of these and can take a look inside, or knows what this i/c is?
DC input is 12v. Pics attached.

Cheers Mark

Seems like a MP1470?
It's outdated, replaced by the MP1476.
