Gate Sensor
« on: May 30, 2020, 07:13:35 pm »
The wire pulled out of the plastic housing it was glued in with silicone. I tried putting the wire back in different positions, but it no longer detects the piston/gear. Does anyone know how the wires are positioned inside the plastic housing?

Thank You!

Yes, good job!!!

I opened one up to see if I could repair the other. There is a magnet on the piston of the gate arm. When the magnet reaches the sensor, the reeds touch and the gate stops. I ordered new sensors, but for fun, I am going to try to fix the broken one. I have tiny glass tubing exactly like the attached pics.
