Hi i know it's been, a wild of this post but i give it a try! I'm in process of fixing the same machine, i already replaced light bulbs switch with leds. Had the same issue , credit switch is intermittent , i'm working on it but need service manual or schematic of the mpu board, i will keep you updated of my works! |

@Tech13 I am not sure that you can replace the bulbs with LED's as I think they are controlled by triacs and those only operate on AC. I think all of the lighting circuits on this unit operate on AC. Think of what is in a standard light bulb dimmer. They do not work with most non dimmable LED bulbs as the voltage across the LED's cant easily reach 0V like a filament in a normal bulb can (not enough load on the dimmer). By the way your buttons should all light up as well. Monitor looks good though. Be careful with the exposed PCB like that as some of the tabs on the triacs are at mains voltage! Mine already had a PCB track explosion when I got it due to the electronic lock for the cash drawer being removed and the wires not being isolated correctly and the full120V mains shorted out and took out the track and the triac. Luckily nothing else was damaged. |
