Nicotine is oily, plain water usually isn't too effective but a bit of detergent will let it dissolve and rinse off. I like Oil Eater but regular liquid dish soap works reasonably well too.

I think most of it was surface dust that got coated with the cigarette smoke.  I can now read the values on the trimmer pots and caps.  It is currently drying over a hot air vent.  I will then start testing all the caps on the board.

I don't think that anyone can help you with that, because this poker machine is very old now.. nowadays nobody uses such machines, because we have internet. If you want to play poker, you just have to find a good online platform to play on. You can find here a lot of good and verified online casinos high ratings and good reviews.  That's much more comfortable to play from home than to go somewhere and play on a machine like that. I have even won a pretty nice sum of money on poker, and that's really cool!

If this is not spam then you are completely missing the point of collecting vintage games.

Well I finally got some more time to work on the system.  I have started taking apart the front button assembly's and have found that the switches are made in Japan and have lights in them.  I cleaned a set of the buttons in my ultrasonic cleaner and I think I may have killed some of the remaining working bulbs (is that even possible?).  Anyways I am now wondering where I could find some compatible replacement switches.  The closest match I could find were these ones: http://www.shinden.com/PushButtonSwitches/p-101a-06.htm http://www.shinden.com/PushButtonSwitches/p-101a-05.htm http://www.shinden.com/PushButtonSwitches/p-101a-04.htm and a measurement diagram of one: http://www.shinden.com/images/push/appr/p101c04rbst0000.pdf  I have attached pictures to this post of the switch that I have disassembled to see if I could fix it.  I have also found some literature for the system: https://flyers.arcade-museum.com/?page=thumbs&db=videodb&id=4274 (you would have to be strong to hold the unit like the ad as it weighs around 50 pounds).  I also have taken the time to reverse engineer the front panel pinout (not sure if it is correct though), if anyone is interested I will do a write up on that.

My problem is that I am no longer able to put credits, the micro switch no longer responds and it works very well because I tested it. I would like to adjust the number of coins to 1 for 1 credit.

Thank!
