Hello all,
Long time reader, first time poster.
I have a clone of the Goldstar DC power supply made by Digital DCM and there are a lot other clones of this popular format cheap variable power supply.
For what they are, they work well and mine has many years of service. No fan, so completely silent and quite repeatable settings. Unfortunately the green LED display are failing. Initially it was one segment in one digit, but progressively it's gotten worse to the point most digits are affected. Although I got a replacement unit that is more modern (Korad), I kind of miss this one for its simplicity.

I took it apart sometime ago, and all the LED displays have no markings at all and the pin configuration do not match classic standards that I could find online.

I am asking here if anyone has a part number or a lead for a better description of where to buy replacement displays.

Thanks

It may help if you post a picture of the LED display itself (with pinout).

Thanks for the document. My power supply works properly and only has fading digits. I was able to trace some of the segments and validate they don't work.

The pinout of these is quite different from all I have seen commonly shown foe sale. There are no markings at all on the modules so I am at a loss. Will take pictures of the unit assembled to show better the problem.

Maybe something like this could be adapted, i.e. check pinout:

Mostly looking for a direct replacement part to make the repair easy. Although an old PS, I hope the parts are still available if we had a part number to search for.

I have been unable to find any documentation on these power supplies. I was hopping someone had used one and theirs had some markings on the seven segment displays to help the search.

Keep hoping for an easy solution.
