Title: GW instek PSH 3630 repair - No voltage output
Post by: ginSeven on April 10, 2019, 05:23:19 am
Hi,

I am currently repairing a PSH 3630 1KW programmable power supply. It boots up fine, and all the controls work. The only issue is when I will trigger to enable the output, the output is 0. I have tried applying a voltage to the sense pins behind, and it does show up on the display. Any ideas on where to start?

Device history:

There are 3 power supply modules that are connected in parallel, one of them was blown, and found out it was the fuse. I removed and disconnected that module until I get a replacement part for it. Currently there are only 2 modules working. There is a main controller board (display and controls are connected here), and some slave controller boards (interconnected by cables). Tried swapping out modules and controller boards, but it doesn't work as well.

Thanks.
