Hameg 303-6 scope
« on: February 18, 2024, 06:24:52 pm »
Just picked up a Hameg 303-6 scope. I have found the service manual and schematics for this model EXCEPT the power supply board in my scope is DIFFERENT than anything in the manuals or schematics. Can not find any info /pix of my PS board. It has a component (capacitor) that appears to be cooked; apparently something in the high voltage circuit since my meter goes nuts when I try to read across it. Scope seems to work ok except trace is confined to the upper half of the display; Y position control can bring trace down only to middle of screen. Attached are pix of PS from manual and my PS.
Help!

That´s curious!
If You haven´t done it before, send an E-Mail to info@sky-messtechnik.de and attach this picture and one from the bottom-side and from the rear of the 303-6 (-that shows the label with type-nr. , ser-nr. ++) and a picture from that burned capacitor seen from the side (-should desolder it, if possible).
