Title: Harman Kardon AVR 235 receiver repair
Post by: feedback.loop on December 24, 2017, 12:20:18 am
This Harman Kardon AVR 235 receiver had no output. The problem was traced to a shorted ceramic capacitor in the power supply, which resulted in two blown fusible resistors. The process of investigation might be of interest to you.

Appreciate the video.  This helped me repair my AVR 354 today.  I believe these units all have the same faulty issue.  In my case, replacing the 2 fuses F110, F111 (2.5A/250V) with 3.15A/250V fixed the issue - even though visibly there appeared nothing wrong with them.
