Help finding company logo on this SMD.
« on: October 01, 2021, 05:28:30 pm »
Im trying to find What company logo this is.  the part is in the power circuit area.  the unit is not powering on.
its a teradek 4k reciever in case you need to know.
I measure 145k either way across them. i suspect these could be a fuse of some sort.
the people that use these items are notorious for reversing polarity on power cables going in.

That logo is Diodes Inc. Strangely it seems to miss the cathode marking. If I'm not mistaken this matches the marking: https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/ds19005.pdf -> SMAJ33(C)A (Page 3; look for VM)

There's no cathode band because it's the bidirectional version.

Ah, thanks. That explains the missing mark. I was missing that as I just did a short check. But the Column indeed denotes the VM-Type as bidi. They should also give a hint at the marking drawing.

Just for future reference, here's a link for you to bookmark, which might come in handy to identify stuff. It's not got everything, but it has a lot.

Very nice contribution!  :-+ There're companies that seem to do it badly on purpose!
Ex. Rectron:
- Hey, let's make a diode logo, one of the most the most common semiconductors, so people search us in google like "diode logo company"
 :palm:
