I don't seem to be able to find a replacement 2pin DC rectangular notched plug for a switch mode 12v 5a. This is for a 12v thermoelectric cooler/warmer running on 240v. Several people seem to be trying to find them as well without success. I can find plenty of leads with the plug but don't want to have to pay for whole lead to cut up for plug. They seem to also be called "car cooler plugs". Image of switch mode, lead with plug, and reference socket museums. Any help greatly appreciated.

you have thoses with rounded edges with a notch who can connect in the rectangular plug ???

I think it's called the C7 connector, for the two rounded sides
I know there is a model with one square side too, used a lot in the Sony stuff, i did had in the past an electrical item with your needed plug, searched tons of vintage ac connectors, nothing came up like yours

Use a dremel to carve the needed notch ??
