Help finding replacement OVP IC
« on: June 22, 2024, 06:04:16 am »
I was replacing a button on my wireless gaming controller (Gulikit) and accidentally murdered a poor SOT23 over voltage protection IC. It's a P14C13 and looks like it's made by Prisemi. I'm having trouble finding a data sheet, but more importantly, does mouser or digikey call these things something other than a Over Voltage Protection IC? If someone can help with a datasheet or replacement ideas, that would be awesome. I'm pretty sure it's just for a standard USBC charger with a 1S cell, but I've been wrong before

Stop looking for TVS devices. Instead, look for an electronic fuse or a current-limited load switch.

If you want to run your device without OVP, you can bridge the Vin and Vout pins.
