Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the ref of the burned component (see picture)
the marking on it seems "H4" or "H47" ?
there are 4 identical circuits on this board marked the same. on a working board, the burned chip is the same as the 4 others "H4"
it comes from a Hornby "4 channels locomotive decoder"
I presume it's some mosfet, but which one ?
I you have any idea it would be much appreciated.

thanks.

My usual search pages pull up a Rohm EMH4 dual digital transistor or equivalent as a possibility.  Edit: That might make sense as it looks like the sort of application where they need to keep the parts count down.

thanks it seems to be that part.
helas, you must buy them in 3000 qty ... even with shipping in smaller quantities it's still the same price as a new hornby device ...

You could maybe bodge it with a couple of air-wired SOT23 transistors and a few resistors (actually, just 2 10k base resistors) - assuming you can work out why it blew!.

Edit: The package contains two separate dies and it looks as if only one of them smoked.
