Help identifying a part
« on: March 19, 2022, 09:09:34 pm »
Hi all,
I'm repairing a component (SIL11 package coated with epoxy) and I came across a part I'm not able to identify. The part has a SOT23 package like a transistor but it's "naked" with metal exposed (I don't think I have scratched it off while "digging" on the epoxy).I attach a picture.Has anyone idea of what it coud be?Maybe a darlington transitor or an inductor?

That looks like the leadframe and lower part of the encapsulation, of what could've been a transistor that blew its top off.

Thank for reply.Yes, probably it's a transistor that I broke the top case of using heat or while 'digging' the epoxy.
