Help identifying a part from a Laserjet 4000 / 4050
« on: November 15, 2023, 09:56:20 am »
I'm trying identify a part that I found broken bits of inside my LJ4050.  I'd also like to know where it fits.   The other parts that were broken (Toner Cartridge access cover, and the Laser Shutter Arm were readily identifiable - even If I can't find the latter).

Here' a couple of pix of the largest piece of the broken part I want to identify (the rest are too small to make much sense of):

Thanks in advance, David

Looks like you can find the exploded parts diagrams, here:
https://www.laserpros.com/technical-resources/printer-parts-diagrams/hp-laserjet-4050-parts-diagrams

The trick is in knowing that exploded views can be found at the repair parts dealers. I searched "lj4050 parts" and found it in two seconds. HTH.
