Help identifying components on and induction stove repair
« on: May 21, 2019, 10:32:06 pm »
I'm having difficulty identifying a zener diode on a Samsung induction range inverter board, and would really appreciate any help.

I've attached a photo of the diode. It appears to be SOD-123 size, and the only component which I can find with the 'ZB' marking on it in a SOD-123 package is KDZVTR18B. I don't think it is this component since it doesn't have the 3 bar markings on it. There are lots of other spec'd components for other package sizes, with the most consistent specs being for an SOD-323 part (BZT52C6V8).

The datasheet of the KDZVTR18B states under the drawing merely, that the MARKING BAR indicates the location of the cathode, not that is must or will be always made up of three stripes.
