Help identifying this smd fuse
(1/1)
artvandalai:
I need help identifying this smd fuse on a Philips sonicare pcb so I can order the correct part from digikey. I believe i blew the fuse attempting to fix another part of the board as it shows no continuity on the multimeter. https://ibb.co/2t1SQzX

Possibly a 3A fast acting fuse:

While it may be a regular fuse, often it's polyfuse (resettable fuse) in such package. Looking on it sideways and on the bottom will reveal which one it is. Polyfuse usually have the same marking on both sides and exposed copper layers can be seen on its edges. Normal fuse likely will have trace on the bottom side, no copper layers visible on edges.

Its too small for me to see clearly and I currently dont have a microscope for this. I believe it is resettable as this video https://youtu.be/o6ZyJ-hzpHo?si=C5uvK8lSVk0Xi839 states the fuse on this sonicare model, mine is a different model, is a resettable fuse.
