help laptop motherboard thomson NEO14A-4sl64
« on: December 14, 2024, 10:45:00 am »
Hello,
The motherboard has undergone a polarity inversion.
This short-circuited the 100µF tantalum.
After replacement, the A7SHB mosfet burned.
After replacement, everything works except the battery charge.

I made the partial diagram of the motherboard around the charging chip.

I took the voltages around the BQ735 chip, see photos.

I don't see anything abnormal on the voltages except ACDRV which is not boosted, I have 6.6v instead of ~18V normally?

I suspect a chip defect?

Here is my question:
but I also have a connection between Q1 and Q2 which goes to mosfets can they intervene in blocking the charge?

thank you
