Help, Siglent SDG1032X display is offset to the left
« on: January 13, 2024, 08:01:17 pm »
I recently bought a used Siglent SDG1032X.  It works perfectly but the display image is offset to the left by enough that the text of the left most option button and part of the text on the main image is obscured making it difficult to read.  Does anyone know if there is an adjustment to center the image?  Most displays have one but I can't find any documentation on how to do it on the SDG1032X.

Thanks.

Can you post a picture of the issue and are you sure it is not a mechanical issue?

Since this uses an LCD screen, it is unlikely that it has a horizontal position adjustment like on old CRT screens, and it is also unlikely that an electrical fault will cause the display to actually shift. Take a look first for a mechanical shfting

Thanks for the input.  I don't want to open the unit quite yet since I can return it for a refund.  I was hoping there was a software way of adjusting the image position.  I've attached a photo of the shifted screen.  The shift is most obvious for the left most menu item on the bottom of the screen where the "frequency/period" is obscured.
