Help to identify 8 pin IC
« on: December 08, 2023, 10:47:31 pm »
Hello everyone.

I need help identifying and replacing a burnt IC.
The device is a Garmin dezl 870 with a charging problem (not charging). I opened it and I see that one IC is burnt so I can't read what it is so I can replace it.

Does anyone know what model it might be?

Tnx for info.
I just saw that on other side I have also burnt component (I think its ag1 like the one on left side), but I'm unable to find what is it. Do you know what part is that?

It's look like the same but I don't know what component AG1 is so I can order it and replace.

This is 3 pin.
One from picture is 6 pin

here are the readings both diode and ohms

Pins 2 and 3 look like Ground and Vcc, respectively. If so, then that would invalidate my previous guess.

"aG" is 74AUP1G332GW, but it seems very explicit about the "A" in lowercase.

It looks like it must be an ESD protection component, perhaps a TVS diode array?

Could it be something like this?
