Help to identify a Sensata thermal switch
« on: January 17, 2021, 06:13:42 am »
looking for some help to identify a thermostatic switch.

I got two to identify but the issue is I cannot make sense of the temperature  comparing the markings to the chart on the datasheet.

They are part of a spa pool heater. I would like to know the temperature rating so I can test if they are within spec.

One is a manual and the other is automatic. The numbers marked go as bellow.

1NT12L-2449 L50-MR 9937
1NT01L-2972 L51-12 9937

Datasheet bellow

ISTM that the temperature specs are buried within the "2449" and "2972" suffixes. I suspect that "9937" is a YYWW date code.

50'C with manual reset and 51'C with -12'C (below 51'C) for automatic reset.
