Title: Help to identify smd chip V5s 55

Hi guys,
First time poster so please be gentle.

I think this device may be a voltage reg but I cant find anything matching online.
Cant be too exotic I wouldnt think. It looks like a sot 457 but with 5 pins the lower rightmost being double width.

It is in a professional LED light by THELIGHT called a VELVET 1. No info from the manufacturer of course  |O

Any help would be much appreciated.

A picture of the PCB could help.

Yes that reg looks plausible. Interestingly Google didnt offer me that site in my search results.

I've attached a pic.
I have the light working now (and I dont know how, and that bothers me) While I was testing voltages I accidentally shorted a resistor not shown here to an unpopulated pad and the light just started working. Not something I usually try to do of course but shit happens. Since then I have run the light for a couple of hours and also left it disconnected overnight. Still works fine?? Never seen that before. Stray charge on something that the designer left floating?
