Title: Help with diode identification
Post by: Martinr on September 18, 2022, 10:40:50 am
A diode has failed on a Panasonic microwave circuit board.   I believe the diode is part of the mains rectification section.   I can’t find a schematic for this model.

There are only 4 characters on the diode: zero, 6 and then two characters on their sides, which could be sixes or nines.

I have copied these characters onto paper as they appear and also show 2 photos of the diode.

I’d be grateful for any help in identifying it or a suggestion for a replacement.

Put a new one that is enough.

Numbers could be 0.6*1000V 6A, 9A peak.

I would locate a service manual for a similar Panasonic microwave oven and then identify a diode with the same function.

Plenty here:
