Help with identifying a part
« on: October 15, 2019, 11:28:58 am »
Hi there,

I have an Asus tablet that stopped charging and when I opened it, it had a broken inductor close to an IC. I was trying to look for the IC online to try and make up the value of the inductor so I could order a new one and solder it, but I can't seem to find it. The only marking on the IC is "LHR". Does anyone know what could it be?

Thanks in advance,

Luís

That wouldn't be a regular inductor but a common-mode suppression choke.

The IC is a TS3USB221A USB multiplexer.

It's weird since the choke would short the D- to the OE on the microcontroller side right ?
