Hitachi V-212 broken knob
« on: January 20, 2017, 12:44:20 pm »
Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Hitachi V-212 oscilloscope off eBay, but is has a broken volts/div knob on Channel 2.  I'm wondering if it's possible to source a replacement knob for it from somewhere, without buying a whole oscilloscope to strip for one part.  :horse:

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if you're still looking for a part, but I bought a broken unit for parts just to fix that same issue. I have another knob if you still need it. The center rod pulls out if you remove a pin, and you can replace that and the plastic knob.

Hi int3grate!

Apologies for the delay replying - for some reason I didn't get a notification of your reply to my post.  ???

Yes, sounds like an excellent idea.  Feel free to message me if you still have the part and let me know how much you want for the item!  :-+

I'm very late here but saw this old topic about a Hitachi V212 broken volts/div knob you could still have for spare..
Do you still have one that could be for sale ?
Thanks.
