How long is Dyson V8 battery life? My Machine broken?

Battery indicator light show green, used for 1 year. Found that there are 2 years battery life in generally.

if possible, open it up completely to be able to read  each cell's voltage

if below 2.7V it's faulty, check BIR, battery internal resistance if greater than 0.7 it's faulty

Li-ion damage mostly caused by two

- charged full but not being used quickly then

- affected by high temperature, read

Apologies if this is way off base but are you cleaning the filters regularly? I replaced a battery before realising that dirty filters absolutely kill the battery life.

One of our Dysons powers off if the filter is too dirty. Maybe check the filter.
