Title: How to easy desolder BGA chips (CPU, etc..) in present-day Lenovo laptops.
Post by: Kim_555 on March 11, 2017, 09:15:58 am
Hi all.
If You engage laptops repair, you know hat in Lenovo all BGA chips is with "black compound" and when we unsolder it - we have big chance to damage contacts in motherboard.
Fast and safe way before desoldering - is use WD-40. Before desoldering - we add a small amount of WD-40  under chip,  and waiting 20-30 min. Then we can desoldering chip on infrared station.
We can see this process in my video

In this video i speak russian, but i think everything will be clear. I wish all successful repairs.
