How to open a Vision Mantis?

Hi.

I have a classic Vision Mantis. I want to disable the fan because it is noisy and not needed as I replaced the quartz halogen lamps with LED lamps. I read somewhere that if the machine is opened, the optics can go out of alignment and then the machine has to be sent to the UK for alignment.
Has anyone opened up a Vision Mantis without issues? If so, how do you open it? I could find no manual on the web.

You can open a Vision Mantis without issues.

In my case a mirror inside was loose, I could repair it easily.
