DVI not working on LCD monitor

A while back the DVI input on my monitor stopped working. So VGA and HDMI work fine, idk if DP does.

Where would I start after checking that the voltages are all working ? This is my good working 27" 1440p gaming monitor, so IDK if I even want to pull it apart, I sure would like to know why an input stopped working, something else could be about to go from the same problem

I've watched videos of some repairs, but IDK the basics of these, past some of the SMPS circuitry.

The usual stuff to start with, bulging capacitors, check PSU voltages and ripple.
Then move on to the LDO regulators on the other PCB, download datasheets if needed, make sure they are in tight tolerance, I've seen cases where 1.7V instead of 1.8V was causing trouble.
It is also a good idea to check ripple on those supplies as sometimes decoupling capacitors age.

I have couple of monitors with blown HDMI or VGA, all happened when plugging in/out
