Hi all.
I'm hoping someone can post page 8-13 from the HP 3457A service manual P/N 03457-90012 (February 1988 Edition 3).
I'm asking because this page is missing from the scanned PDF available from the Keysight website at: http://www.keysight.com/main/facet.jspx?&cc=AU&lc=eng&k=03457-90012sg&pSearch=tnmSearch&hasLuckySearch=true (http://www.keysight.com/main/facet.jspx?&cc=AU&lc=eng&k=03457-90012sg&pSearch=tnmSearch&hasLuckySearch=true)
According to the table of contents, page 8-13 is the start of chapter 8-31. A/D Converter.
This is the first page of the detailed theory of operation section for the A/D converter which might help me with fixing a failed self test AUXERR#8 integrator convergence error.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The service manual I used to repair my 3457A.
http://exodus.poly.edu/~kurt/manuals/manuals/HP%20Agilent/HP%203457A%20Service.pdf (http://exodus.poly.edu/~kurt/manuals/manuals/HP%20Agilent/HP%203457A%20Service.pdf)
I believe it is complete.

Hi Johnny10. Thank you for posting the link but it is exactly the same PDF file as I got from Keysight and I have checked and confirmed that it is also missing page 8-13.
Perhaps someone has a hard copy of the service manual that they can scan just that single page 8-13 for me?

Sorry,
I do see that it is missing same page.

The 47.4MB one comes from Agilent site and doesn't contain that page. There are smaller ones which don't contain the page either (and are missing a bunch of other pages too.)
There's this 138MB one from elektrotanya, which has 30 fewer pages than the 47.4MB one so it may have come from a different source: https://elektrotanya.com/hp_3457a.pdf/download.html

Thanks amyk. Just downloaded the file from your link but unfortunately it is also missing page 8-13. The search continues...

Maybe you could ask Agilent... perhaps the page was missing since the beginning, because for at leats two independent scans to not have that page seems odd.

Why not ask Dave at ArtekManuals if his copy has that page?

No affiliation, just a happy customer.

Thanks BradC. I have taken up your suggestion and will wait for a reply from Dave H. The prices look very reasonable.

They are - and the quality is good.
Note that it may take a day for your download to become available, since the "back office" order fulfillment process is entirely manual :)

Thanks Alf but that's not it. 03457-90011 is an older version of the manual (Edition 2, May 1986). I was after page 8-13 from 03457-90012 (Edition 3, February 1988) which was stated in my original post.
Anyway, I have purchased a scan from Artek so I now have the missing page I was looking for.
Thanks to everyone who responded. It is appreciated.

Oops, sorry about that. It'l teach me to read rather than scan posts :-[

Good to know, I'm off to order a copy for myself

Good to know, I'm off to order a copy for myself
Dave at Artek was very quick to turn around my order, so impressed with that. The scan I received is generally good but unfortunately the big schematic on page 8-73/8-74 needs more resolution. The smallest annotations are illegible. I can't make out some of the IC pin numbers for example. JPEG style compression artefacts in the scan make the small font used by HP too fuzzy to read.

Dave is always receptive to feedback. Go back and tell him exactly what you just mentioned and ask if there's anything he can do about it. Most of the manuals he has available in pdf are backed up by the original paper. He might well be able to re-scan those elements at a higher resolution.
The other option is of course the schematics are broken up but very legible in the freely available manual found on-line.

Hi all,
just in case someone is still interested in the missing page.
