Title: HP 6034A Power Supply OTP failure
Post by: Generalquark on July 05, 2020, 12:40:19 am
Hi,
I just started working on an older 6034A Power Supply. The self test lights for about .5 seconds then the OTP and SEQ lights come on. It looks like according to the manual

There is a temp sensor on the FET heatsink. There does not to be a direct short on the FET from what I can measure.

Just checking if anyone has any experience or tips on this failure before I start reinventing the wheel. I didn't see any past comments on this type of fail in the past on the board.

Thanks!
