nice this mod actually works, I can set it to the closest 100nA pretty easily. I think the pot needs replacing but it does work on 250uA for 81 model :-+ I see the meter misbehave when I adjust it on all ranges. There is a bit of noise too, I need to do test with coaxial cable, closed enclosure, cleaned PCB (its totally dirty because I am waiting for more resistors and caps to replace everything) and replaced potentiometer. |

Hmm I replaced all but 3 of the carbon resistors, and all the electrolytics. Now it looks like the adjustment of the potentiometer is smooth. Maybe its fine and the problem was elsewhere. ??? |

yeah I am waiting for a metal foil to replace the 1/4 watt rando resistor I put in there |

totally silent after I replaced the 3 50nF disks with 50nF foils on the rectifier PCB :) |
