HP 6235A Repair
« on: August 14, 2015, 03:32:05 pm »
Does anyone have the service manual for this and could upload decent images of the component locations and schematic?  I'm trying to repair one and really can't see the numbers on the schematic from the downloaded version.  The component locations diagram is legible for the most part but the schematic is a mess.

I've also got an extra 2K resistor across CR25 that doesn't show in my version which I'm curious about.  I'm getting -16V at TP1 and -28.7V at TP7.  R6 is TP1 so I've found that, R2 I can't identify on the component locations, R1 is the pot for the voltage on the panel if I'm not mistaken.  I think this might be a bad or dirty pot because the voltage will max out  at both ends of the range but jumps around oddly while being set somewhere in the middle.

Edit:  I just pulled the 18V pot out and it's bad so I'm going to put in a 10 turn 10K I have sitting here.  If anyone does have a service manual, I still wouldn't mind a nice clear picture of the schematic and component location pages if you wouldn't mind.
