Finally tracked down cause of SMPS failure - a dislodged 10R0 SMD resistor on the primary side of the 12V supplies. Bridged with a through-hole and supply fires up fine.  I need to buy in a suitable 2010 component but unsure of spec needed. If I'm reading this right the resistor connects to Pin4 of the current transformer (CT1) and to bases of [K]C2328A transistor (marked Q7 on PCB)/[2S]B927  (marked Q8). Not hard to find a part online, but not sure how to calculate what voltage and power spec is needed - also wonder if it should meet any additional specs. Grateful if someone can give me a steer on this. This is an 850W supply with multiple 12V and 5V outputs.
