HP/Agilent 6632B OV protection kicking in around 9V
« on: January 10, 2017, 09:16:02 am »
Strange phenomenon in the lab. 2 6632Bs next to each other in the lab, have started to exhibit the same problem at the same time. Below 8V all is well, but above the OV kicks in... If I disable the OV by bridging R351, all is good, voltages are correct when entered up to 20V... any thoughts?

What is the OVP voltage programmed to be? IIRC you can set it from the front panel. It may just be that someone has been fiddling!
