HSTNS-PD18 (aka Delta 750) OVP Hack
« on: May 04, 2022, 11:14:14 am »
Has anyone been able to modify the OVP level of the HSTNS-PD18 "tiny but powerful" HP Server SMPS ?
I have found a bit of literature on how to mod the Vout excursion range as in HERE but nothing really relevant to the OVP

Hello ym58,

Did you ever get any answer to your quest?  I too sought information about the PD18 as well as the PL11.
Modified a PD18 to achieve 13.85V, but the over current protection now kicks in at 25A, so wondered if you had success in finding documentation for I think it will help me too.

Nada @axm55, to my great despair ;)
I'm hoping leaving this topic alive will make hints come as my two PD-18's are now sitting on a shelf !
The same with two powerful & tiny Emerson 7001605-J000 (aka IBM 94Y8113/8114) ...
Do you have any info on this PSU ?

yes, I've been there but nothing really relevant (especially when it comes to OVP hacking ...)
thanks for the tip, however.
