i bend C XM bender - XM System inc, now SDSautomation

I have a problem with a machine for bending three-dimensional letters. There is an issue with the positioning of the bending element—it doesn't base correctly. After starting the machine, the basing plate moves towards the bending tool, reaches the end, slows down, and continues moving further, as shown in the video.

The worst part is that the limit switch is functioning properly, and the computer detects its presence because there is a preview of the output available. The controller for the machine is custom-made for several FPGAs, and there is no documentation available—I have checked.

I have inspected the following:
End switches
Cables
Cold solder joints
The servo is working fine, and there are no error messages. Does anyone have a similar machine or know what could be causing this issue?

sds do not want to help me I called them.
