I need help reviving my Lablot LB1102 oscilloscope
« on: October 21, 2023, 01:08:42 pm »
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading your posts for quite some time now. A few days ago I bought a Lablot LB1102 oscilloscope (it's basically the same OWON SDS1102) which the first few days worked perfectly

but out of nowhere it just didn't want to turn on again.

Because I live in Venezuela and the shipping cost to return it to the seller would be higher than the cost of the oscilloscope itself and I'm not a dishonest guy to tell eBay that the package never arrived so they can send me another one, well, I it's time to repair it

The 5V input is measuring 0 ohms, which shows a serious short circuit. Checking the power circuits, I found that these 2 TLV62130ARGTR regulators have simply died and I would like to know based on your experience, why is this happening? and Are there any other considerations I should take to bring my oscilloscope back to life? (This equipment has some sentimental value, my wife gave it to me on my birthday)

Hanmatek DOS1102 also, maybe many with 1102 in their name.
Should widen the possibility of deeper manual?

i am experiencing the same issue with my oscilloscope as Ratmayor described. From one day to the next, there was a short circuit on the main board. I would like to know if they managed to repair it.
