Idenfitying a mouse micro switch
« on: December 31, 2019, 02:58:25 am »
I have a gaming mouse that I like and it's not being made anymore. I bought 10 of them 10 years ago, and now they're going for around $350 used on eBay.

Out of those 10, only 3 remain. I regret throwing away the ones that broke, mostly broken buttons. Now I have to keep repairing what I have left.

The only markings I see on the button is H2 M. The letter "M" is inside a circle. I can't find it on Google. I like these buttons because they're a lot softer than regular mouse buttons.

The mouse is a Steelseries Cataclysm mouse, which they made when Cataclysm expansion came out.

This is the underside of the switch:

Thanks, I found them on eBay. They should all be the same, right? It didn't say Panasonic

Matsushita and Panasonic are the same company.

If they don't say Panasonic nor Matsushita then it's probably a Chinese clone --- which is likely to work too, but may not have the same reliability. They're cheap enough, however.
